The Magic of Chairs: Katonah Yoga 10-hour Intensive
In Person @Laughing River Yoga in Burlington, Vermont
There are few tools in a yoga practice that are as versatile and useful as a chair. It functions as scaffolding to lift and support us and allows for fresh perspectives and different angles to play with in our practices.
In this 10-hour intensive we will look at the different ways we can use chairs in practice, focusing on standing poses, inversions, backbends and restoratives. We will utilize the techniques and tools of Katonah Yoga in order to organize and orient ourselves, creating the framework and space for insights and revelations, both on and off the mat.

Constructing The Method: Form, Function & Insight
In Person @ Katonah Yoga Center, Bedford Hills, NY
June 18 & 19
In this training we will explore the foundational forms of Katonah Yoga, taking a closer look at how we measure up and use hatha yoga practices, asana and breathwork, with Katonah Yoga Theory® for insights into personal and communal well-being.
Perfect for teachers teaching the material and students who want to take a deeper dive, we will deconstruct and reconstruct the ways in which we frame our practice through defining and refining the maps of time and space, using themes such as asana as origami, constructing and manipulating form for function, and developing a sense of personal measure
