This mentorship is designed for teachers (and students) who want to learn more about Katonah Yoga Theory and how it can meld well with other disciplines and practices.
Over the course of our mentorship we will explore:
Cross-referencing the maps and materials with other disciplines of practice
How to introduce the material: The art of persuasion in teaching
Reading the room: Cueing the individual and communal
Playing with archetypal patterns, sacred geometry and metaphor to sequence and construct classes and personal practices
Developing a personal teaching template and other tools to avoid burnout as a teacher
Each mentee will start the mentorship with a teaching or practice project that resonates with what they want to learn and bring to their classes. They will work one on one with both Felipe and Mary Dana to dialogue and dimension to the work.
4 2.5-hour meetings/lectures with Felipe and Mary Dana
Weekly writing prompts and assignments to process the material
Access to all MDY live classes and replays
Participation in practice teaching sessions (Optional)

Eye of Teacher Basic Mentorship
Katonah Yoga® is a syncretic Hatha yoga practice developed by Nevine Michaan over 40 years.
