By focusing on smart and specific sequencing tailored towards taking flight, this workshop will get you more comfortable exploring inversions and arm-balances with grace and confidence. You will see how accessible these shapes can be by looking at them as composites of the more simple asanas that we encounter more frequently in our practice. Expect break-throughs and surprises. Open to all, even (and especially) if fear is an obstacle!

2:30-4:30p | Form, Flow & Function: Setting up a Practice for Insight | $25 before 11/2 $40 after

Often what is familiar feels correct and we will repeat the same habits even when they serve us no longer. In this workshop we will look at the building blocks of asana from the lens of sacred geometry and origami, in order to take a step back from the personal and have real insights into what is working for us and what is not. Then we will apply what we learned in a vinyasa experience, exploring how form and flow work synergistically to give us a functional relationship with our bodies that will serve us long and serve us well.
